Every phase of the moon sets the current of growth, release, and rest — know the phase and you stop swimming against the tide.

The moon is the first clock the practitioners ever used, and it is still the most accurate one we have for timing work. I do not begin a working without first checking the phase, because the phase determines what any operation can actually accomplish. A waxing moon grows things — money, business, attraction, power. A waning moon cuts things — attachments, debts, enemies, disease. The dark and the full are their own animals, locked and charged respectively. When you operate against the phase, you push a current that cannot carry you. When you operate with it, half the work is already done by the sky.
